Wir starten heute in unsere 60. Challenge mit dem Thema:

"Random Acts of Kindness Day"

Immer am 17. Februar wird in den USA und Neuseeland auf den Tag der spontanen Nettigkeiten aufmerksam gemacht.

Der Tag der spontanen Nettigkeiten ist fester Bestandteil einer ganzen Aktionswoche, 

der sogenannten Random Acts of Kindness Week.

Beide wurden von den Neuseeländern Josh de Jong, Marshall Gray, Megan Singleton 

und Reuben Gwyn im Jahre 2005 ins Leben gerufen.

Dementsprechend wird der Random Acts of Kindness Day sowohl in Neuseeland als auch den USA 

inzwischen von vielen Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen des Landes dazu genutzt, 

um auf das eigene Anliegen hinzuweisen und auf die Spendenbereitschaft der Menschen an diesem Aktionstag zu hoffen. 

Auch viele Schulen nutzen den Random Acts of Kindness Day dazu, ihre Schüler am heutigen 17. Februar 

auf die Wertigkeit von Freundlichkeit bzw. Höflichkeit durch verschiedene schulische Aktionen hervorzuheben.

Every February 17th in the USA and New Zealand people draw attention to the Random Acts of Kindness Day.

The day of spontaneous niceties is an integral part of an entire week of action, 

the so-called Random Acts of Kindness Week.

Both were founded by New Zealanders Josh de Jong, Marshall Gray, Megan Singleton 

and Reuben Gwyn in 2005.

Accordingly, Random Acts of Kindness Day in both New Zealand and the USA 

is now used by many charities in the country to highlight their own concerns 

and hope that people will be willing to donate on this day of action. 

Many schools also use Random Acts of Kindness Day to highlight the value of kindness and politeness

 to their students through various school activities on February 17th.
