Wir starten heute in unsere 38. Challenge mit dem Thema:
Today is the start of our 38h challenge:
California Poppy Day
Warum der Tag am 6.April begangen wird, konnten wir nicht genau heraus finden,
denn die Hauptblütezeit des kalifornischen Mohns ist im Mai.
Er wächst wild und bedeckt teilweise ganze Felder.
Das besondere an ihm, er blüht gelb bis orange, weswegen er auch 'Goldmohn' genannt wird.
Am 2. März 1903 wurde der Kalifornische Mohn zur Staatsblume in Kalifornien ernannt.
We couldn't find out exactly why the day is celebrated on April 6th,
because the main flowering period of the Californian poppy is in May.
It grows wild and sometimes covers entire fields.
The special thing about him, he flowers yellow to orange, which is why he is also called 'gold poppy'.
On March 2, 1903, the California poppy was designated the state flower of California.
Bei unserer Challenge dürfen aber alle Mohnblumen dran teilnehmen, ob rot, gelb, weiß, blau ...
Eurer Kreativität sind keine Grenzen gesetzt!!
But all poppies can take part in our challenge, whether red, yellow, white, blue...
There are no limits to your creativity!!
